My Wolverine :)

Nikki recently created an email account for her eldest son Everett. She encouraged all her friends and family to email him so he could learn how to use it. Knowing how much Everett loves XMEN right now, Chris and I wanted to send him something along that theme. We decided to recreate Wolverine--my Wolverine. I think he did pretty good! :)

Anniversary Adventure

Chris and I celebrated our two-year anniversary on Tuesday. We really only spent about fifteen minutes together that day! We both had to work and had separate plans scheduled for that evening, so we decided to celebrate our anniversary over the weekend. Chris and I both took the day off on Friday, and he surprised me with a trip out to Enchanted Rock in/past Fredericksburg!!! We stopped by Jamba Juice for breakfast smoothies, and then headed on our little adventure to Enchanted Rock! We spent the afternoon hiking and climbing and sweating and talking! It was soooo much fun! Hiking is one of our favorite things to do together, and is so special for us. Some couples love getting all fancied up [which we enjoy on occasion], but hiking is more our thing. After we hiked four or five miles, we were super hungry!! We stopped off at a little burger joint we have been wanting to try for some time. I guess our style is a little more casual. :) We had a really great time together reflecting on our first two years of marriage. It has truly been bliss!
